Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EveryVoyage mobile application and related website features, including the Explore section at everyvoyage.com (together, the “Service”).

The Service is operated by SIMPLR LABS LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 16945371), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“EveryVoyage”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• An account is required to access core features of the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.

2. The Service

EveryVoyage allows users to record journeys using GPS, create trips and voyages, upload photos, share locations, leave reviews and comments, message other users, and maintain public profiles. The Explore section enables searching and discovery of locations such as campsites and related points of interest.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. GPS data and safety

• Certain features require access to your device’s location services, including precise GPS data.
• You control location permissions through your device settings.
• You are solely responsible for your safety when travelling or recording journeys.
• Do not use the Service in a way that distracts you while driving or operating a vehicle.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, or safety of routes, locations, or user-submitted content.

4. User-generated content

You may submit content such as routes, locations, photos, text, reviews, comments, messages, and profile information (“User Content”). You remain the owner of your User Content.

You must not upload or share User Content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or infringes the rights of others. Pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind is not permitted. Any sexualised content involving minors is strictly prohibited.

5. Public visibility and moderation

• Some User Content and profile information may be publicly visible.
• We may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend, or terminate accounts where necessary for safety, compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

6. Intellectual property and licence

We own the Service and all related intellectual property, excluding User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your User Content as required to operate and promote the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services including Firebase and Sentry. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

8. Future paid features

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future, including subscriptions, advertising, or marketplace functionality. Any paid features will be subject to additional terms presented at the point of purchase. Refunds will be provided only where required by law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and limit our liability to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding a claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
